Warranty Policy

Red Shark USA Warranty and Care:

RED SHARK USA Product that is found by RED SHARK USA to be defective in materials or workmanship within twelve (12) months of the date of shipment of the Product may be repaired or replaced at the discretion of RED SHARK USA (the “RED SHARK Warranty”). 

For the original retail purchaser (“Consumer”), Red Shark USA provides a limited one-year warranty from date of purchase against material or manufacturing defects for a registered product.

If the warranty applies, Red Shark USA will repair, replace/provide replacement parts at its discretion, the board, the bike frame or any part or component that is deemed defective. Red Shark USA reserves the right to change products and designs without incurring any obligations to incorporate such changes into already completed products, or those in the hands of dealers or consumers.

PROCESSING A WARRANTY CLAIM FOR ITEMS PURCHASED FROM AN AUTHORIZED DEALER

Please review our product-specific warranty terms above to determine if your product is covered under warranty. If you believe your product is defective and covered by this warranty policy, please follow the steps below to submit a warranty claim.

  1. Please first contact Red Shark USA with the original receipt of purchase at hello@redsharkusa.com.
  2. You are responsible for sending pictures to hello@redsharkusa.com and mailing/ delivery to Red Shark USA or an authorized dealer you purchased it from (should it be necessary).
  3. If the Red Shark USA/Dealer inspection indicates a defect that is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, Red Shark USA may repair or replace your product. Proof of purchase such as a sales receipt is required. If repairs or evaluation are required, Red Shark USA will work with the dealer to facilitate repairs or replacements.

This limited warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear and aging of product.
  • Cosmetic flaws or variations in colors.
  • Use in excess of the manufacturers recommended maximum load capacity.
  • Failure to comply with pressure recommendations, assembly / disassembly and handling procedures.
  • Any puncture, cut or abrasion sustained in normal use or damage from unreasonable uses or improper storage.
  • Red Shark USA bikes purchased second-hand or used
  • Red Shark USA bikes damaged by extreme weather or environmental conditions.
  • Red Shark USA bikes damaged by accident, neglect, improper use or handling.
  • Red Shark USA bikes that have been towed by power or sail boats.
  • Red Shark USA bikes designated as Prototypes.
  • Red Shark USA bikes sold as “demos” or in “as is” condition.
  • Red Shark USA bikes determined to have been used for any activity other than an activity which is customary for the product.
  • Red Shark USA bikes that have been structurally or dimensionally altered or modified.
  • Any product that has been lost or stolen.

Except as expressly set forth herein, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Red Shark USA bikes expressly disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, with regard to Red Shark USA bikes. Some state, country, or provincial laws do not allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.

In no event shall Red Shark USA bikes be liable for any incidental or consequential damages or expenses resulting from any defects in its products. Red Shark USA bikes aggregate liability with respect to any product shall be limited to an amount equal to Consumer's original purchase price paid for the defective product.

To the extent any limitation or exclusion contained herein is contrary to applicable law, such limitation or exclusion shall be severable and all other terms herein shall remain in full force and effect and are valid and enforceable. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights. For Consumers who are covered by state, country or provincial consumer protection laws or regulations, the benefits from this warranty are in addition to all rights conveyed by such consumer protection laws.
